859 Static Carillon is a Forerunner monitor acting as keeper of the Composers and tasked with maintaining the Composer's Forge.[1]

Biography

859 Static Carillon was charged as the keeper of the Composers and monitor of the [[Composer's ForgeBy 2557 859 had sent numerous messages to Installation 03's monitor 049 Abject Testament, who remained unresponsive. This caused 859 to travel to Installation 03 through a service portal to investigate, where he encountered the Ur-Didact. When the Didact learned who the monitor was and how he arrived on Installation 03 he had 859 show him the portal. Upon their arrival 859 had the Didact agree not to manufacture more Promethan Knights if 859 brought a Halo to the Composer's Forge. Didact soon broke that agreement and made more Knights. He intended to send them to Requiem, clearly unaware of it's fate. The next day 859 managed to bring a Halo to the Forge after discovering the Didact broke his agreement. When he informed Blue Team of the Didact's plan, John-117 decided they had to get to the Halo before the Didact. 859 decided to help them not because he cared for humans but simply because the Didact broke his agreement. He helped Blue Team to the portal and held off the Knights while they went through the portal.[2]
