Midnight Launch
Midnight Launch.png
20 Gamerscore icon taken from Xbox.com. Originally a single block colour (with the two circles both being white and the 'G' a transparent cutout), but modified by myself to display nicely on dark *and* light themes, and to be reminiscent of the pre-Xbox One gamerscore icon.

Midnight Launch is an achievement in Halo 4. It is awarded for getting 'significant air' in a Warthog on Mission 2, at midnight. The achievement is worth 20 gamerscore. It is represented by what appears to be an eagle similar to the UNSC emblem; behind this is a full moon, signifying midnight.[1] To unlock the achievement the player must make a jump with the Warthog while the clock on their Xbox 360 reads 12:00 am. Players can adjust the time zone on their console to allow them to earn the achievement at their own convenience.

Trivia[edit]

The name of the achievement is a reference to a midnight launch of a product, particularly a video game. The Halo series is known for its midnight launches.
