| “ | Whisper-quiet tactical pistol loaded with armor-piercing rounds. Tailored for Spartan force reconnaissance missions. Match grade Magnum with integral baffle-free suppresor and full-VISR Smart-Link.[2] | ” |
The Tactical Magnum is a variant of the M6H2 magnum.[3]
Overview[edit]
Design Details[edit]
The Tactical Magnum comes equipped with a baffle-free, integrated suppresor and a laser aiming module very reminiscent of the M6C/SOCOM. Unlike the regular M6H2, it uses a 2x Smart-linked scope, similar to the KFA-2 scope utilized by the M6D magnum.[4]
In-game information[edit]
The Tactical Magnum was added in the Anvil's Legacy content update,[3] and is available for Warzone and Forge.
| Image | Name | Rarity | Energy Cost | Description |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Gunfighter Magnum | Ultra Rare | Lightweight competition pistol carried by Spartan operators who prefer a no-frills backup firearm. Quick draw Magnum with fast-reload magazines. Iron sights only, no Smart-Link module is attached. |
Advantages[edit]
While using the Tactical Magnum, its integrated suppresor allows the user to not be detected by an enemy player's motion sensors when firing while standing or crouching. It has best range out of the standard M6H2 and the Gunfighter Magnum, having a Red reticle range of more than 60 meters while aiming down sights, allowing it to be used in mid to long-range engagements with its 2x scope.[5][Note 1]

List of appearances[edit]

Notes[edit]
- ^ While aiming down sights, the HUD shows that the Tactical Magnum has 2x zoom, but in reality the zoom level is 1.9x.
