Denning is a Spartan-IV supersoldier. They attended the Avery J. Johnson Academy of Military Science.[1]
Biography[edit]
Denning entered the SPARTAN-IV program as a recruit, where they were put through training at the Avery J. Johnson Academy of Military Science. Denning was later seen socializing at the academy with Spartans Ionescu and Page before a live-fire exercise on December 20, 2559. During the exercise Denning competed alongside Spartans Leung, Eusebio, and O'Brien. They faced off against Spartan Commander Laurette Agryna, Spartans Ionescu and Page, and "Rook".[1]
Denning was one of the many Spartans involved in the defence of the academy during an assault by the Banished several months later. In the early evening of March 4, Denning was tasked to join Agryna and Eusebio in helping to defend and seal the base's bay doors, though Denning's fate remains unknown after this. By the time Agryna retreated into the AI lab later in the evening, Denning was not present.[2]

Spartan Denning wore "cadet forest" standard issue Mark VII MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor with a Mark V Zeta helmet.[1]

Spartan Denning is likely named after Troy Denning, the author of a number of Halo novels.
