- Operation: GREY VEIL takes place on Heian.[1]
- Sheila-065 is killed by Thel 'Lodamee in the Battle of Miridem[2][3] - the battle takes place concurrently with GREY VEIL.[4] Dr. Catherine Halsey is captured by Covenant forces who attempt to flee the system, prompting ONI to deploy a team of SPARTANs on a rescue mission.[5]
- After two years of battle against the Covenant, Alluvion's citizens have either died or fled. The colony is abandoned.[6]
- Construction of the UNSC Infinity begins.[7]
- The Corner, a store in the West Market of Mombasa, opens.[8]
