'Kita was a Swords of Sanghelios warrior.[1]
Biography[edit]
Battle for Zeta Halo[edit]
- Main article: Battle for Zeta Halo
On December 12, 2559, 'Kita and his brothers 'Kor, 'Rav and 'Skaal were aboard the UNSC Infinity when it was ambushed by Banished forces upon arrival at Installation 07. They were amongst those who survived the landing and the next six months on the ring.
On June 7, 2560, the brothers were close to the Lifeworker Archive when they spotted Pelican Echo 216 under attack by a Phantom. Using a human rocket launcher, they shot down the Banished dropship, saving Fernando Esparza's life, and boarded the downed Pelican. They made hasty repairs to the flight systems, quickly getting Echo 216 in the air again with 'Kor piloting. Esparza mistook the Sangheili for Banished forces and shot one with a pistol, although his energy shield easily absorbed the impact. Addressing Esparza in heavily accented English, the four revealed that they were actually Swords of Sanghelios who had been onboard the Infinity when it was attacked. 'Kor told Esparza that the Sangheili had been hunting when they spotted the Pelican.[1] The Sangheili flew the damaged Pelican into the alpine region of one of the island fragments where Esparza was greeted by a group of UNSC soldiers and survivors, including the boat crew, in a sheltered rock canyon.[2]
The next day, Esparza and the four Swords of Sanghelios warriors arrived at the Silent Auditorium in what appeared to be a Banished Phantom to help John-117. 'Kor, 'Kita, 'Rav and 'Skaal leaped out of the Phantom and fanned out with their energy swords, trapping the remaining Banished between themselves and the Master Chief before cutting through the fray with precision and speed. Recognizing that the Sangheili were allies, the Spartan left them to finish off the Banished while he carried the dying Lucas Browning outside.[3] After the battle, 'Kor flew the group back to the UNSC encampment at Lifeworker Central.
On June 8, 'Kor, 'Kita, 'Rav and 'Skaal attended Browning's funeral alongside the Master Chief, Joyeuse, Esparza, Commander Wes Thompson, Dr. Shoff, Janina Yu, Cardenas, Gainey, Hightower and the surviving members of the boat crew.[2]
On June 12, 'Kor, 'Kita, 'Rav and 'Skaal were amongst the crowd that gathered as Dr. Genie Dawson revealed that while she and her team were unable to find the Infinity, they had found large groups of other survivors scattered across Zeta Halo. The Swords of Sanghelios warriors were amongst those to volunteer themselves to the Spartan for a search and rescue mission for the other survivors.[4]
