Pump Yer Brakes
Pump Yer Brakes is a Halo 4 achievement added with the Crimson Map Pack. It is awarded when the player destroys an enemy-controlled Mantis.[1]
Tips
Popular methods for destroying Mantises include hitting them with an EMP from a Plasma pistol then boarding them (which will also award the David and Goliath achievement) and destroying them with a grenade or repeated melees. Heavy weapons are also effective, particularly the Incineration cannon, which can destroy a Mantis with a single direct hit.
