The pulse rifle is a San'Shyuum weapon used in 860 BCE. The Steward that accompanied Mken 'Scre'ah'ben during the Skirmish of the Planet of Blue and Red was equipped with a pulse rifle.[1] When they were attacked by Sangheili forces, the steward managed to fire off a couple of shots before he was incinerated.[2]
