Circa 9,000,000 BCE, the Primordial, a dormant Precursor,[1] is said to have arrived on the edges of the galaxy. This being is later discovered by early spacefaring humans during the last decades of the Human-Forerunner War and brought to Charum Hakkor in a stasis capsule.[2]
