- February 25: The Majestic Map Pack is released.
March
- March 19: Halo: Silentium, the third and final novel of the Forerunner Saga, is released.[1]
- March 29: Forge Island is released.[2]
April
- April 8: The Castle Map Pack is released.
- April 9: Halo 4: Original Soundtrack Volume 2 is released.
May
- May 21: Halo The Series is announced for the Xbox One in Microsoft's keynote conference.[3]
- May 27: The Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn Deluxe Edition Blu-ray/DVD Combo is released for Region 2.[4]
June
- June 10: The Halo Xbox One Announcement Trailer is shown at E3 2013.
- June 21: Microsoft announced that the Reclaimer Trilogy was expanded into the Reclaimer Saga.[5][6]
July
- July 10: Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn Original Soundtrack is released.
- July 18: Halo: Spartan Assault[7] and its soundtrack are released.[8]
August
- August 14: The first issue of Halo: Initiation is released.[9]
- August 20: The Champions Bundle, Bullseye Map Pack, Infinity Armor Pack and Steel Skin Pack are released.[10]
- August 29: Operation F: Hydra is released as a title update for Halo: Spartan Assault.[11]
- August 30: An Emile-A239 figure made by ThreeA was released.[12]

- September 11: The second issue of Halo: Initiation is released.[13]
- September 16: Halo 4: The Essential Visual Guide is released.[14]

- Unknown date: The second series of Halo 4 McFarlane Toys is released.
- October 1: Halo 4: The Essential Visual Guide was released in Europe.
- October 8: Halo 4 Game of the Year Edition is released.[15][16]
- October 9: The third and final issue of Halo: Initiation is released.[17]
- October 15: Halo: Oversized Collection is released.
- October 29: 343 Industries announced that Halo: Spartan Assault would be coming to the Xbox 360 and Xbox One in December 2013.[18]
November
- November 6: Halo Waypoint releases Halo 4: A Look Back on Halo 4's one year anniversary.
- November 22: The Xbox One was released in thirteen selected markets.
December
- December 6: The Halo 4: The Master Chief limited-edition statue is released by McFarlane Toys.
- December 11: The first issue of Halo: Escalation is released.[19]
