Jeff Easterling, or GrimBrother One, is a lead writer at 343 Industries for Halo Waypoint and Halo Channel.[1] He is mainly known for writing Halo Waypoint's Canon Fodder blogs and the Canon Fodder section of the Halo Community Updates.[2] He was a longtime member of the Halo community prior to his hiring by 343 Industries in 2014, having been a member and moderator on halo.bungie.org and Halo Waypoint, among other things. He also has a namesake character in the fan-made graphic novel Halo: A Fistful of Arrows along with several other prominent halo.bungie.org forum members. Jeff is one of the three authors of Halo Mythos: A Guide to the Story of Halo.[3]
In the Halo: The Master Chief Collection port of Halo: Reach, Easterling's name was one of many added to the Fireteam mechanic, allowing allied UNSC personnel to spawn with his name and service tag "GRIM".
