Bigfoot is a Halo 4 achievement added with the Crimson Map Pack. It was unlocked when the player killed 20 enemy players with the Mantis' stomp attack.[1] Only stomp kills scored on a Crimson map counted toward the Bigfoot achievement. Shatter is the only Crimson map which features Mantises.
Following the shutdown of Xbox 360 Halo online services on January 13, 2022, this achievement is no longer attainable.[2][3]
Tips[edit]
The player could improve their chances of getting stomp kills by enabling the Wheelman tactical package. Wheelman improves vehicle durability, but more importantly allows the Mantis to recover more quickly after being hit with an EMP. This increased the chances that the Mantis would recover before it could be boarded by an enemy. The player may have even been able to surprise and stomp enemies who expected to have more time to board them. The Wheelman package is unlocked by completing the Operator specialization.
