The V Mark III - Heavy Barrel Dual Calibre Personal Weapon System[Note 1] is a rifle manufactured by Vakara GesmbH.[2] It is used by the forces under Vinsher Grath's control.[1]

Design details[edit]
The Mark III is a "dual calibre" weapon; it appears to have points for the weapon to load two magazines, a 9x19mm pistol cartridge one in front of the trigger, and a secondary 7.62x51mm magazine between the 9x19mm magazine and the foregrip. It is unclear how the "dual calibre" system of the weapon works, as it only has one barrel - possibly indicating some ability to adjust which kind of round is being fired by the user for greater tactical flexibility. The weapon features attachment rails along the top of the gun and around the sides of the barrel. A sling can also be added onto the gun too. Vakara's logo is painted on the magwell.[1]
Usage[edit]
Several Mark IIIs were used by forces under the control of colonial Governor Vinsher Grath on Madrigal around 2552. These soldiers would attempt to use them against Kwan Ha and Soren-066 at Jin Ha's Outpost.[1]
Production notes[edit]
The prop used for the V Mark III - Heavy Barrel rifle is visually based on the real-world KRISS Vector sub-machine gun, similar to the V Mark I SMG.
