Terminals are a collectible featured in the campaign mode of Halo: Campaign Evolved. Like the original terminals featured in Halo 3, Campaign Evolved's terminals are text-only, rather than the animated videos produced by Sequence for the terminals of Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 4, and Halo 2: Anniversary.[1]
There are thirteen terminals in Campaign Evolved, with one included in each level of the game (including the prequel bonus levels).[2] Once unlocked the terminals can be read in the Collectibles section of the main menu.[3][4]
Universe and lore[edit]
During the Battle of Installation 04 in 2552, terminals were discovered on Installation 04 that covered exchanges between 343 Guilty Spark and 2401 Penitent Tangent.[5] According to the Office of Naval Intelligence, the information within these terminals are classified under Project BOOKWORM.[3]

Pillar of Autumn - Approach[edit]

- Location: Later in the level you will find the observation deck overlooking the cryo-room you first awoke in, where Samuel Marcus was killed. Head through this room and then to the left; the terminal can be found in the darkness.

Those were the final words imparted to me by 049 Abject Testament before we were assigned to our respective installations and went our separate ways.
I have had [5,527,580 hours] to ponder and reflect on that [dictum], and to this day I am yet to arrive at my own conclusion.
