24 Hours of Quezon
From Halopedia, the Halo wiki
24 Hours of Quezon,[1][2] also known as the Quezon 24 Hours or Q24 for short, was an endurance, multi-class motorsport event hosted at the Quezon Ikersárkány Versenypály on the human Inner Colony of Reach.[3]
24 Hours of Quezon was one of the events that was a part of humanity's high-stakes interstellar motorsports league, along with the New Carthage Sprint Series.[2] 24 Hours though, like many colonial endurance races, was modeled after a specific historic car race held annually in the French country side.[3]
History[edit]
AMG Transport Dynamics' prototypes and "RallyHog" models have won class victories in the event.[1]
The 2551 event would feature a HuCiv Genet GTX, a BLAST sponsored Goblin VS, and an Avalanche Slate sponsored Warthog driven by Bella Disztl and managed by AMG Transport Dynamics. A children's choir from Tribute would perform prior to race start, along with a flyby of seven B-65 Shortswords in v-formation with a Pelican shooting celebratory flares behind them.[3]
The event was likely suspended indefinitely when Reach was glassed by the Covenant in the summer of 2552.
