Six Pedals, Four Directions is an achievement in Halo: The Master Chief Collection. It is unlocked by driving a Scorpion tank whilst playing as the Arbiter. The achievement is worth 10 Gamerscore and can be unlocked on any difficulty.

Tips

Players can find an unoccupied Scorpion on Quarantine Zone, off to the left, just after exiting the crashed Sentinel manufacturing facility.

There are two additional tanks earlier in the level: one in the first large room with the pair of Enforcers; another just before the entrance to the crashed Sentinel manufacturing facility. However, the first Scorpion is often, and the second is always occupied by Flood, and must be hijacked before they can be used. Hijacking the first Scorpion can make the level far easier as it is more powerful and a better vehicle than the Covenant Specter you start the level with. The Scorpion's fight with the Enforcers provides the player with the perfect distraction to come up and hijack the tank.

Trivia

The name of the achievement is taken from a line in the Red vs. Blue first season episode "Check out the Treads on That Tank", in which a frustrated Caboose asks, "Why are there six pedals if there are only four directions?" Six Pedals has since become a running gag on the show.
