Pillar of Awesome
Pillar of Awesome is an achievement in Halo: The Master Chief Collection. It is unlocked by beating the 17,000 point par score on The Pillar of Autumn. The achievement is worth 10 Gamerscore. Though it can theoretically be unlocked on any difficulty, more points are awarded in campaign scoring when playing on higher difficulties.
Tips[edit]
Turn on the Boom and Piñata skulls on legendary difficulty. This will allow you to get plasma grenades early by backsmacking the Elites in the dining hall (the three Grunts outside of the bridge do not drop grenades no matter what) which can be used to clear out groups of enemies. Marines will also drop grenades if killed, so consider killing one of them for some grenades.
