The Kill medal is awarded in Halo 4 multiplayer and Spartan Ops. It is awarded for kills which are not covered by other medals. Specifically, it is awarded for kills with the following weapons:
- Assault Rifle
- Concussion Rifle
- Heavy Machine Gun
- Incineration Cannon
- Plasma Cannon
- Plasma Pistol
- SAW
- Scattershot
- Shotgun
- Sticky Detonator
- Storm Rifle
- Suppressor
It is also awarded for non-headshot kills with the following headshot-capable weapons:
