The Executioner was a Sangheili in service to the Covenant who was tasked with executing the renegade Jiralhanae warrior, Atriox.
Biography
Following Atriox's return from what was considered to have been a suicide mission during the Human-Covenant War, the Executioner met and encircled him with a group of other Sangheili. Realizing what was intended, Atriox surrendered his Type-2 gravity hammer and dropped to his knees, seemingly accepting of his sentence. When the Executioner thrust a Type-1 energy sword toward his face, however, Atriox caught the blade with his right hand, rose to his feet, and killed him.[1]
