This mining facility is a Banished strategic site on the planet Oth Kattral.[1][2]
Overview
Location
The mining facility is built into a cliff edge at an arid and mountainous volcanic region;[1][2] the Banished intends to the extract the wealth of minerals to fuel their war machine.[3] A monorail system runs nearby.[2][1]
Layout
The facility is roughly circular, with two landing pads on the eastern and western cliff edges. The laser drill and its blastpit are located in the center of the facility.[2]
History
In April 2560, the facility was targeted by rival warlords. The Jiralhanae Chieftain in charge of the facility enlisted two janissaries, Marley and Callie Calder, to patrol and defend the site.[1]
Production notes
This mining facility serves as the setting for the Halo Infinite multiplayer map Scarr.
