Headshot Honcho is a Halo 3 multiplayer achievement. It is awarded for killing 10 enemies with headshots using the sniper rifle or beam rifle in a ranked free for all playlist, or in campaign.
It is represented by a black crosshairs with a frowney in the middle.
An easy way to do this is to go to the beginning of The Ark where you start with a sniper and just snipe all the enemies in the head.
Easy Way to Earn the Headshot Honcho
Also, if you betray your Marines, they will also count as a headshot kill if you shoot them as well, since they have become your enemies. One easy way to earn this achievement doing this is on the level, The Ark. Reach the point where you have to open the light bridge for the Marines, Scorpions, Warthogs, and occasionally Prowlers to pass. Instead of opening the bridge right away, snipe off a few of the Warthog's gunners. That way, the Marines will start shooting you and plus there'll be no Warthog gunners killing you. From here, shoot the Warthog/Prowler's drivers and passengers. Kill off the Scorpion's gunners if needed. When you have earned the Achievement, light the bridge and continue on with the mission. The Marines outside of the building won't mind what you did earlier.
