- "Explain this. I'm starting to think that you look a lot like a Grunt. Lovell...check her face. I'll bet it peels right off."
- — Singh, inserting the barrel of his M6D magnum into the Ensign's after hearing her traitorous remarks about surrender to the Covenant.
Singh was a UNSC Naval crewman who was assigned to the Pillar of Autumn. On September 19, 2552, he was listed as a crewman on Charlie Shift on Pillar of Autumn's duty roster.[1] He escaped in the escape pod Kilo Tango Victor 17 with some other crewmen, Marines and his commanding officer, Captain Keyes.[2] He was the first to think that Ensign Ellen Dowski was a traitor and suggested that she be shot. Keyes was more lenient and decided to tie her up and leave her.[3] Later, the Covenant found Dowski, who told where to find the survivors, resulting in the deaths of Singh and all, with the exception of Keyes, of the crewmen.[3]
