The Lightrifle is a Promethean utility weapon that was first introduced in Halo 4.
Universe and lore[edit]

In Halo 4, the lightrifle used is the Z-250 lightrifle and is the primary service arm of the Prometheans, with burst fire if fired normaly, but switching to single fire when scoped, with eaach bullet fired when scoped replacing the ammo of an ordinarily fired burst.
