Fingerprints Are Broken is the twenty-first track in Halo Wars: Original Soundtrack. Overview[edit]The track opens with a synth ambiance, soon joined by strings and synth on a serene melody. Short piano snippets play in accompaniment. They repeat, until vocals enter with a grander melody. Piano echo the melody, and two play the melody together before fading out. The soundtrack's bonus DVD includes a 5.1 channel surround mix as well as an alternate version, titled Fingerprints Are Broken (Harvest Intro Version), featuring piano and vocals on an upbeat variation of the melody, accompanied by heavy percussion. Appearances[edit]Fingerprints Are Broken made its debut in the original Halo Wars E3 2007 Demo, as the background track during gameplay. The track plays randomly as a backing track during gameplay on any campaign or Skirmish levels in Halo Wars set on Harvest or within the interior of Trove, including:
The alternate version only plays in the beginning of the levels that place on the surface of Harvest.
