Advance Survey Team - Alpha

Advance Survey Team - Alpha (AST-A) was a Forerunner survey unit sent to G 617 g to investigate the disappearance of a Primary Pioneer Group. There, it encountered and was subsequently assimilated into the Flood, which prompted a military response from the ecumene.[1] The events that occurred on this world marked the beginning of the Forerunner-Flood War.
