The M868 Tropic Warthog[1] is a variant of the M12 Warthog that is outfitted for operations in jungle terrain.[1]
Description
Unlike its standard variant, the M868 is a hostile-environment variant for operations in a tropical environment.[2] Most notable changes are a further ruggedized suspension and double application of anti-corrosion coatings.[1]
Trivia
The M868 as-described bears a heavy resemblance to a vehicle cut during the development of Halo 2. This was later confirmed by Jeff Easterling,[3] with the note that it can change later if 343 Industries needed.[4]
