"Unexplained Spartan-II"[edit]

I think we need to explore the possibility that the "unexplained Spartan-II" is meant to be John. He's one of only four Spartans confirmed to have worn the Mark-VI, and the only one that we know was active in New Mombasa. Combining it with the bridge scene in Mission 2: On Top of the World, it creates a nice series of Easter eggs. Yes, it doesn't match up perfectly with the events of Metropolis, but neither does Palace Hotel. --Emblem 1.jpg Rusty-112 Admin comm 21:45, 20 March 2017 (EDT)

The only Spartan that fits is Will-043. Japeth555 (talk) 21:48, 20 March 2017 (EDT)Japeth555
How does Will fit? Our only source for that time period is Halo: Ghosts of Onyx, and it says nothing about him being anywhere near Africa: just Antarctica, the Yucatan, and Havana. And yes, I'm aware that 343 has decided that all of the Spartan-II's have all worn their Halo 5: Guardians armor variants throughout their entire careers, which would seem to discount Fred and Linda. I won't even get started on how stupid I think that is.--Emblem 1.jpg Rusty-112 Admin comm 22:07, 20 March 2017 (EDT)
It makes complete sense. We know Will was at Earth at that time expect we have no idea why he didn't go with Fred and Linda to debrief with ONI as shown in H2A's terminals. The explaination is that he was deployed to New Mombasa at the time. And maybe he got some new armor right before, just like John did.Japeth555 (talk) 22:11, 20 March 2017 (EDT)Japeth555
