Talk:Cut Halo 4 levels

From Halopedia, the Halo wiki

Article Name[edit]

If there is going to be only one page titled "Untitled Halo 4 map pack", I suggest removing "(cancelled pitch)" from the name, because these are usually reserved for distinguishing pages with the same name.—SPARTAN331 21:46, July 8, 2020 (EDT)

Good point, I was mainly wanting to keep in line with our Halo Wars 3 (rejected pitch) article, being careful not to make it seem like there is just an additional Halo 4 map pack out there alongside the four we have. BaconShelf (talk) 08:55, July 9, 2020 (EDT)
Perhaps "Cancelled Halo 4 map pack" then? —SPARTAN331 09:18, July 9, 2020 (EDT)
Perhaps something like Cancelled Halo 4 map pack pitch would be a better title? Although personally, I'm wary of using the term "cancelled" in both this and the Halo Wars 3 page. It implies that work was done on the project but was scrapped, rather than the reality; the pitch failed and no work beyond the pitch materials was ever done. I think "Rejected pitch" might be a better descriptor in both cases. Dab1001's user page Dab1001 (talkcontributions) This user is an admin on Halopedia. 09:19, July 9, 2020 (EDT)
That could work for HW3. For this page, I was wondering if maybe we should just make it something like Halo 4 rejected map pitches? I've realised that there's quite a few mp map concept bits out there that aren't necessarily described to belong to (potential) DLC, and as such may have been considered for the base game. This way the DLC portion can be made one major section, while the other maps get their own gallery too.
I'm generally a fan of say, starting the title with Halo XYZ as more people would be searching for Halo 4 than the word Rejected and so forth.BaconShelf (talk) 09:23, July 9, 2020 (EDT)
Halo 4 rejected map pitches works for me. As for Halo Wars 3, I'll rename the page now. Could you bot the link updates? Dab1001's user page Dab1001 (talkcontributions) This user is an admin on Halopedia. 09:35, July 9, 2020 (EDT)
