Jeremy Patenaude

From Halopedia, the Halo wiki

Jeremy Patenaude, also known as Vociferous, was the lead writer for the Halo franchise team at 343 Industries.[1] His duties involved writing miscellaneous fiction, as well as managing the Halo universe continuity; this entailed reviewing new projects and assisting writers in ensuring the material fits the series canon.[2]

He began at 343 Industries as a Content Creator for the Halo Waypoint team,[3] serving as the author of most of Waypoint's fiction content and campaign gameplay videos.[4] He also authored Halo: The Essential Visual Guide.[5] Prior to being hired by 343 Industries, he was one of the writers for the Halo-themed blog Ascendant Justice along with Jacob "Cocopjojo" Benton.

He was one of the hosts of "Community OutREACH", during which he would play Halo multiplayer and interview notable members of the Halo community, ranging from halo.bungie.org article writer Stephen Loftus to Geoff Ramsey and Jack Pattillo of Rooster Teeth. Patenaude posted a series on Halo Waypoint called "Vintage Fisticuffs", which summarizes a few areas throughout the Halo campaign that give the player different ways to approach them.[6] His latest series on the Waypoint called "A Different Way to Campaign" shows the viewer some fun events players can perform in campaign, such as stacking a group of vehicles on a Covenant Deutoros-pattern Scarab.

He is one of the three authors of Halo Mythos, alongside Jeff Easterling and Kenneth Peters. He also wrote the untitled story in the Halo: Fractures short story compilation, the Sacrifice short story included in Halo: Shadows of Reach,[7] and is the author of the upcoming novel Halo: Empty Throne.[8]

By November 2023, Jeremy Patenaude left 343 Industries, and started working as the narrative director for Anchor Point Studios.[9]
