GWC Trans-African Pipelines

A pipeline ran along the Tsavo Highway,[1] part of a water supply system that spanned the continent of Africa on Earth. Maintained by the Global Water Campaign, a East African Protectorate government programme, it carried water that came from Mount Kilimanjaro and purified at facilities such as the now-decommissioned Mount Kilimanjaro Water Plant to the rest of the continent.[2][3] Pumping stations exist along this major pipeline that supply water for specific areas, such as Voi Municipal Water Pump House 03.[1]
