In-game information[edit]

The Fire Serpent armor is available for multiplayer Spartan armor customization in Halo Infinite, with the entire set being available through the Shadows operation pass. If the player didn't complete the Shadows operation pass before the Warpath operation's release, this armor can instead be purchased from the Shop for 2,200 with the release of Infinite. The Fire Serpent armor and its associated components are primarily available on the Mark VII armor core.

Like CAMAZOTZ and its references to a bat spirit from Mayan mythology, the Fire Serpent armor set seems to reference Huītzilōpōchtli, a deity in Aztec religion, more specifically, Xiuhcōātl, its serpent form. The Fire Serpent helmet's attachment references an eagle, which could be used to represent Huītzilōpōchtli. The armor in general features many geometric elements that echo the Aztec's architectural style, as does the Mutilator weapon model paired with it. The "Serpent's Eye" armor coating rounds out the motif, featuring a distinct Aztec color palette, utilizing vibrant shades of green, yellow, and red.
