Wraith Hunter is an achievement in Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary and Halo: The Master Chief Collection. It is awarded for destroying four Wraiths with the Scorpion on the campaign level Assault on the Control Room.

The achievement is worth 10 Gamerscore.

Method[edit]

Run past the first Wraith, and take the Scorpion. The Wraith should follow the player to the Pelican crash site, so destroy it. The second and third one are in front of the entrance to the first underground tunnel, and the third one might take a while to destroy due its higher position. The fourth one is located on the frozen lake, right after exiting the underground tunnel, and before meeting up with Stacker and his Marines, so the achievement should be rewarded the moment the player destroys the fourth one.

Trivia[edit]

  • In both name and requirement, this achievement is similar to the achievement "Wraith Killer" in Halo 3: ODST.
  • Originally on Halo Waypoint the achievement image erroneously appeared similar to the I’ll Be Taking That! achievement, except that the Banshee in the medal has been replaced by a number "1" in a yellow circle. It was also described to be awarded when the player destroys 3 Wraiths without a chosen weapon. This was rectified in February 2012.
