Vorenus was a Jiralhanae of the Covenant attached to the warship, Rapid Conversion [1]. He was a part of Maccabeus' pack. Vorenus was taller and more muscular than Maccabeus, and possibly was a close friend to the Chieftain, second only to Tartarus. Vorenus was also responsible for killing the very first human, Rol Pedersen, during the initial contact, but this fact could be contradicted as a nearby Unggoy wandered off and killed the militiaman Osmo. Much later, Vorenus held Staff Sergeant Byrne hostage but was killed by the militia shortly after.
