Sinoviet Heavy Machinery is a Human company based on Earth[1]. They did shipping work in and around the city of Voi, Kenya in Africa. There is also another company seen in "The Storm" Level in Halo 3 named Traxus, which is believed to be a similar shipping company.
Vehicles
Sinoviet also created road vehicles for civilian use, most notably, the Sinoviet HM 1220 LTUV-M, which was made in the early 2500's.
Trivia
- The name of the company comes from the words Sino and Viet (which also sounds like Soviet), which are also names for China and Vietnam, leading to the logical conclusion that the company is based in Southeast Asia.
- The Sinoviet box can only be seen on The Storm level in Halo 3.
