Launch Bay 7 was a part of the UNSC Halcyon-Class Cruiser Pillar of Autumn. It held a single Longsword-class Interceptor/Fighter, which was used by the Master Chief and Cortana to escape from Alpha Halo. It also has enough storage capacity for sixteen Pelican dropships and a large number of Marines and armored vehicles.
This Hangar bay can be seen in the first cutscene on the Level "Pillar of Autumn".
