Intersytem News is a human news service, providing news from across UEG-controlled space in form of tear sheets available from dedicated news kiosks. The other sides of the sheets are reserved for advertisements.[1]
History
Dr. Catherine Halsey kept three Intersystem News tear sheets in the pocket in the back of her journal; these included reports on the terrorist attack on the Haven arcology in 2511, the glassing of the colony of Bliss, and the promotion of Miranda Keyes from Lieutenant to Lieutenant Commander.[1]
In 2556, a Intersystem News facility was under "Active Investigation" by ONI after the February 7 terrorist attack.[2]
