Hammer Time
H3 Achievement Hammer Time.png
25 Gamerscore icon taken from Xbox.com. Originally a single block colour (with the two circles both being white and the 'G' a transparent cutout), but modified by myself to display nicely on dark *and* light themes, and to be reminiscent of the pre-Xbox One gamerscore icon.

Hammer Time is a Halo 3 achievement that was unlocked by earning five kills with a Gravity Hammer in a single match on Assembly in either a ranked or a social playlist.

It is worth 25 Gamerscore and is represented by a red star with five skulls assembled around a Gravity Hammer.

Following the shutdown of Xbox 360 Halo online services on January 13, 2022, this achievement is no longer attainable.[1][2]

Trivia[edit]

  • Players did not need score all five kills in one life, as long as the five kills were earned before the end of the game, this achievement would unlock.
  • This is likely a reference to song "U Can't Touch This" by MC Hammer.
  • Hammerzeit, a Halo 3 gametype, translates from German to mean Hammer Time.
