David and Goliath is a Halo 4 achievement added with the Crimson Map Pack. It is awarded when the player boards an enemy-controlled Mantis.^[1]

Trivia

The name of the achievement is a reference to the biblical account of David and Goliath, which is included in the first Book of Samuel. The requirement of the achievement mirrors the account, in which David, a small young boy, defeated the giant Philistine warrior Goliath. In addition, the account originates from Book 1 of Samuel, chapter 17, which is most likely a reference to John-117's Spartan tag.
