Concordian militia

The Concordian miltia were the paramilitary defence forces of the colony world of Concord, involved in the planet's defense during the Covenant invasion of 2551.[1] Around December 6, 2551, militia groups fought alongside UNSC Army Rangers (including Sigrid Eklund) at one of the planet's mass driver stations, which they had been defending for some time but steadily losing their numbers.[2] By December 12, the joint UNSC Army-militia force had managed to secure a rare victory against the Covenant, using the mass driver stations to disable the fleet in orbit enough to allow for a small UNSC Navy battlegroup to secure orbital dominance and paving the way for operations such as OFFSET EYE to finish off the now-scattered ground troops.[1]
