Askar is a Halo 3 Meta-Game Achievement. It is unlocked when the player earns 15,000 points while playing the meta-game on The Storm level. This Achievement gives 10 Gamerpoints to the player.

It is represented by a blue circle with a throwing star, also known as the "Sol" emblem.


Methods

Turn on Thunderstorm, Fog, Tough Luck and Famine skulls on Normal and you should be able to reach at least 15,000 points. If all else fails, then turn on the Catch skull.

Trivia

  • The achievement, "Askar" is actually in Bahasa Melayu (the formal language in Malaysia) and the meaning is "soldier".
  • "Askar" is also similar to the Turkish word "Asker", meaning soldier.
  • In Swahili (the official language of Kenya and Tanzania), the word "askari" can mean soldier or policeman.
