- Heavy conflict takes place in the Bonanza Asteroid Belt, distinguishing the Spartan-III Alpha Company.
- Operation: PROMETHEUS. The Spartan-III Alpha Company destroys a Covenant shipyard on asteroid K7-49, but all of 300 Spartans were killed in the process.
