Cairo Suite is the second track on Halo 2: Original Soundtrack, Volume 2. It is composed of Cold Blue Light (0:00-1:54), Waking Spartan (1:54-5:30), Jeweled Hull (5:30-7:33), and Chill Exposure (7:33-9:42).

Cold Blue Light (1:54) is an reorchestration of the fifth section from Opening Suite of the Halo: Original Soundtrack. A shortened version plays near the end of the cutscene in The Heretic. The piece was reochestrated into Only a Star, Only the Sea in Halo 2: Anniversary Original Soundtrack.

Waking Spartan (3:36) features military-style snare drums, and incorporates string variations from The Last Spartan. It plays during the opening cutscene of the level Cairo Station.

Jeweled Hull (2:03) takes on a mystic, reverent tune, with echoing digital noises sounding in every few seconds. A variation plays in the level Cairo Station, after John-117 witnessed the explosion of Malta Station. The piece was reochestrated into the third section of Prophet Suite in Halo 2: Anniversary Original Soundtrack.

Chill Exposure (2:09) features digital chimes, building to more digital noises and fragments of soft choirs. It concludes with a soft gong. It plays in the level Cairo Station, during the section "Authorized Personnel Only". The piece was reochestrated into the first section of Prophet Suite in Halo 2: Anniversary Original Soundtrack.
