- His name may be a reference to the legendary Jewish military hero Judah Maccabee, who's last name is derived from the Aramaic word for hammer.
- Maccabeus wielded the Fist of Rukt before it was outfitted with gravity technology. This further attributes to his great strength.
- He is a War Chieftain even though he wields a hammer (Rare.)
