Talk:Sargasso

From Halopedia, the Halo wiki

Untitled[edit]

I thought it was pretty obvious that Sargasso was attacked by the Covenant during Homecoming. After all, the evacuation point and Daisy's homestead are shown to be one and the same.

Those cards tell us that that marine fought on Harvest at some point. Homecoming flat-out tells us the planet is Sargasso. Why are we fighting this? Grim's statement about not wanting to deal with this is irrelevant.71.72.153.21 14:32, 28 September 2018 (EDT)TheEld
While I agree that the planet was almost certainly intended to be Sargasso, I don't think it's actually labeled in the "present-day"/war-era scenes in the episode (otherwise there would be no confusion), and anyway it's always better to stick with the safe option especially since 343i doesn't want to define it officially. --Tacitus (talk) 02:57, 29 September 2018 (EDT)
This is so incredibly absurd. Daisy is lieterally at her house on the little outcropping of rock when she dies. The episode absolutely does label her place of death as the same place she found her clone.TheEld (talk) 03:28, 29 September 2018 (EDT)TheEld
Rewatching the episode, the planet Daisy dies on is never stated. A location is similar yes to her old house location sure. But its not 1 to 1 making it that we legit cant say its the same location, let alone the same planet. Similar doesnt equal same.-CIA391 (talk) 11:44, 29 September 2018 (EDT)
Basically, it's implicit enough for headcanon, but not explicit enough for an unofficially official Halo database that some people do use when writing canon content. Better safe than sorry, in case they want to change something(remember the URF and Sharpened Shield?).--D9328 (talk) 11:50, 29 September 2018 (EDT)d9328
