- "I see Ghosts by the statues of Mak 'Vadam!"
- — Olympia Vale[1]
Mak 'Vadam was a notable ancient Sangheili from the House of 'Vadam and an ancestral relative of Kaidon Thel 'Vadam.
History[edit]
Mak 'Vadam lived over three thousand years before the time of Arbiter Thel 'Vadam. Like the clan's founder, Ther 'Vadam, Mak was a revered warrior within his clan and was commemorated with large statues in the province of Vadam in Yermo and in the Nuusra region of Qivro, Sanghelios. His statues depicted him with a sword in his hands and his head bowed.
A pair of colossal statues of Ther 'Vadam and Mak 'Vadam were crafted on the slopes of Kolaar Mountain, standing guard on both sides of the split mountain on which Vadam Keep was built on. The towering figures were constructed during the War of Beginnings and overlooked Vadam Valley.[2]
Two statues of Mak were erected near the Vadam clan burial grounds in the territory of Nuusra. In October, 2558, Fireteam Osiris passed by these statues while on a mission to acquire a Constructor. By this time, one of the statues had collapsed.[1]
