Main article: Human-Covenant War/Silver

High Charity was believed to be located outside of human space during much of the Human-Covenant War, only being spotted by the UNSC over the glassed human colony of Harvest in 2540. Study of the station is considered a priority task of the Office of Naval Intelligence and all research of it is part of Project BASEARROW. BASEARROW specific sensor scans have acquired first-order estimates of size and mass, but no specific details on armaments or fleet compliment.[1]

In 2552, a kaidon would travel to High Charity to report his discovery that John-117 managed to activate a Forerunner Keystone to the hierarchs.[3] In 2553, Arbiter Var 'Gatanai and the First Fleet of Solemn Accord were recalled back to High Charity, but soon rebuffed the order to travel to a halo ring.[4]
