Fought in the First Battle of Harvest |
Andersen was a member of the Colonial Militia of Harvest who fought at the First Battle of Harvest.[1] He was one of the four militia members who did not know how to fire a weapon before his training.[citation needed]
He was promoted to leader of squad One-Bravo and volunteered for the mission to clear the Tiara of Unggoy. He survived the battle and escaped Harvest on the same container as Johnson and Jenkins.[2]
It is said that he and Wick both wanted jobs in the DCS on an inner colony world, as they both were disdainful of being farmers.[3]
