It is a reinterpretation of Never Forget from the Halo 3: Original Soundtrack, which itself is based on Unforgotten from the Volume 2 of the Halo 2: Original Soundtrack. The track itself was composed by Kazuma Jinnouchi, while Martin O'Donnell and Michael Salvatori are merely credited as the original composers.[1]
