Major is a common rank both in the Covenant and the UNSC. It may refer to any of the following:

- Major - Field Grade officer rank of the UNSC Air Force, UNSC Army and UNSC Marine Corps.
- Major General - General officer rank in the Air Force, Army and Marine Corps.
- Sergeant Major - The highest enlisted rank in the Army and Marine Corps.

- Jiralhanae Major - Jiralhanae infantryman with blue armor.
- Jiralhanae Captain Major - Jiralhanae captains in golden armor.
