Knife 26 was a Longsword fighter in service by the UNSC.
In August 2552, Knife 26 was attached to a vessel ( the UNSC Pillar of Autumn) that was above Reach. During the Battle of Reach, Knife 26, piloted by a female pilot, led a formation of four Longswords that protected Flight Officer Mitchell's Pelican, Bravo 001, as it descended to the surface of the planet, carrying the SPARTAN-II Red Team, on route to defend the orbital MAC gun's reactor complexes. Knife 26 was forced to engage a dozen Seraph fighters and was vaporized.
